I’ve wanted a McQ scarf for a while now, but I just can’t justify myself spending ~$300 on a scarf that I know I won’t wear that often (unlike my Burberry cashmere scarf that I wear almost everyday in the winter)! I’m waiting until they go on sale, or until I find an awesome deal.
The McQ scarves come in so many different colors, but I think my favorite are the pink skulls. I also like the cream and red skulls, or the red ones that Nicole Richie is wearing here:
The scarf can be worn in such versatile style; as a scarf, a headwrap, a belt, etc.
In college I used to use a neck-tie as a headwrap or belt, and it was really cute. I’ve since donated all my neck-ties to Goodwill, as they were childish prints, but in retrospect I should’ve kept it, or at least taken pics since they were so cute!
McQ has also designed a line for Target, but none of the scarves are available anymore! They’re all sold out. I think it’s pretty cool that McQ designed a skull scarf for the Target line! I’d love to see/feel the McQ for Target scarves, but I’ve yet to see it IRL.
