I went Mother’s Day shopping for my mom today at Valley Fair. I bought her a box of tea (samplers) so she can see which type of tea she likes. I know she’s into black and herbal tea, but I thought a sampler would be great so she can taste a variety! I bought her a 30 pack, so I’m sure she’ll find something she likes!

I also went window shopping and found a really cute F21 dress! They only had one available in my size, and the clasp was broken So I had to pay the extra $6 for shipping to order it online. Too bad it’ll arrive in 5~10 days (not in time for my dinner date with dBF this weekend)!

I get really scared of taking out my pure white Balenciaga purse! Knowing myself, it’s only a matter of time until I get an unpleasant stain on it (*knocks on wood*). So I don’t take out my BBag as much as I’d like. I never take it out when I wear jeans (dye stain) or any dark colored clothing. Which means I only take her out when I’m dressed in white, pink, or any other light spring-y colors!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted an ODJ. I just recently got a new camera (thanks to the dBF!) so I’ve been playing around with it. Took some awesome pics at the A’s game, but haven’t learned how to work the tripod, so I was having issues taking ODJ pics.

I think I like the pics that I take with my iPhone better! The quality isn’t as great, but I take the pics in an angle to make me look skinnier/taller hahaha. I guess I need to learn how to use the tripod better so I look more flattering

The weather’s been a hit or miss lately… it’s either pouring rain or cloudless sunshine all day! The one thing I hate about Bay Area weather is that unlike other cities, you can’t look out the window in the morning and know the weather for the entire day. Here it could be 38 degrees in the morning when you wake up, but then turn into 80 degrees by afternoon! How annoying is that when you’re trying to decide what to wear to work in the morning! I usually just try to layer clothing so I can peel them off as the day goes on.

These Forever 21 pants are actually one of my favorites. They are the only pair of F21 pants I have… maybe I should check them out more. I love how they are low-rise and tight in all the right areas For some reason I never think of F21 when I think of “work clothes” though, maybe that’s why almost all my non-jeans pants are from BR!

On another note, I need to learn how to use the dBF’s camera… my iPhone camera sucks at taking pictures! You can’t even see that my pants are actually pin-striped…

The weather’s been acting up a bit lately… very cold and wet! It was so sunny and nice for a brief week or two, and now we’re back to rain

Needed to run some errands outdoors today, so I wanted to keep warm and comfy. The dBF and I are also going to watch a Giants game tonite in SF! I hope it’s not raining then like it is right now!! Nothing worse than watching two hours of baseball soaking wet, ugh. I may add a waterproof coat on top of this later.

Reminiscing the college days…

Today I woke up and thought, Gee I’ve been trying way too hard to look “professional” or “older” now, that I don’t really have much fun with dressing up!

So today’s ODJ was all about dressing how I used to in the good old college days. Of course not as crazy (i.e., no more 10 inch ko-gal sneakers with puffy legwarmer socks that come up to my knees ), but definitely something that captured the essence of my style a few years back. I’m totally still digging my Tokidoki bag, but I just don’t use it as much nowadays. I don’t think I’m too old for tokidoki am I?

I miss the good ol’ college days where I could wear whatever I want in a city where nobody gives a F (a la Berkeley, CA). It used to be so much fun clashing eye-popping colors with heels that never fail to be under 7″ in height. Oh how I miss those days.
