So I bought this Herve Leger magenta bow dress a few weeks ago:
and I’m not so sure I want to keep it. I kept all the tags in tact, fearing that I wouldn’t want it (and needed to sell it).
When I saw this dress on the model above, I thought it was so cute!! But when I received the dress, of course it doesn’t look as good on me since my body has major flaws everywhere (notably my bulging thighs and love handles)! Soooo now what to do? Sell it now while it’s in demand (I checked on ebay and there were a few of these dresses still available and selling fairly well), or unrealistically keep this dress, hoping that I’ll lose inches around my waist and thighs so the dress will look just as cute on me? I am indeed working out now (and have been for a month or so) but who knows how long that’s going to last, HA!
Another reason that makes me want to sell is the fact that the dBF doesn’t really like it. He says he hates purple (news to me) and this dress is more purple than “magenta”. He also hates the criss-cross bow detail (what I thought was so cute)! Well, not that his opinion is the final word… but it certainly plays a role in my decision to keep or sell.
This is my first Herve Leger dress, and I got it at an amazing price (think 65% off retail)! If I sell this dress off, I will probably never be able to afford another HL ever again. Oh what to do…
